ILSAN TEXTILE is a privately owned company manufacturing both open-end and ring spun yarns made of 100% cotton. The company is owned by ILICAK family from Darende, Malatya, located in the central-eastern Turkey. Besides the current location in Malatya, Ilsan Textile also established a sales office in Merter, İstanbul, in 1999 in order to offer better service to its customer base and increase its market share.

     Production of knitting fabric has started in early 2003 with an initial investment of 4 Mayer circular knitting machines. Construction of the ring yarn plant also took place during the same year and both carded and combed yarn production has begun in May 2004. The company was also awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Assurance Certificate in 2003 as a result of its commitment to the highest quality standards in production and service.

     A wide range of both open-end and ring spun yarns is currently offered to major customers in the domestic market, as well as to various export markets, mainly to Europe.

     Equipped with the latest state-of-the-art machinery park, Ilsan Textile prides itself of following the latest innovations in its sector with the aim of being a fully integrated vertical mill. Ilsan Textile generally uses American (75%), Greek (15%) and domestic (10%) cotton in its open-end blend, whereas ring blend usually consists of prime quality Turkish Aegean cotton (up to 70%) and Diyarbakir Golden West cotton (30%). Besides manufacturing open-end and ring spun yarns, Ilsan Textile is planning to become an integrated vertical factory in the near future.
